What a nice invitation for me to stay at Sari Pacific Jakarta (formerly known as Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta). And great thing, I could stay there with Aline. Yaaaay. It's always fun to stay with friends, of course. So that lovely Saturday, I went to the hotel with hubby. We checked-in around 1pm. We didn't have to wait long to come inside the room.

LOBBY

The lobby looks exclusive with oldies but comfortable feeling. Not intimidating. Friendly and affectionate. It's spacious with high ceiling. Very sophisticated.

Pacific Room

Offering magnificent city views from the uppermost levels of our hotel near Plaza Indonesia, our lavish 60sqm (646sq-ft) Pacific Floor Rooms feature separate areas for living and dining, a modern kitchenette and access to exclusive Pacific Club privileges. In the main area, stylish furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a warming sunbathed aspect create a tranquil ambience, while a thoughtfully-appointed executive work desk and wireless Internet access make it easy to stay connected.

The corridor was beautiful but we could feel the classic touch. The room has living room with small kitchen. It's like a pantry, I think. I didn't use anything in the kitchen. Not even the minibar. Hahaha. On the other side, I love the living room. It's colder than the bedroom. LOL. They also have dining table with 4 seats. And also TV in the living room. So, we could see different movies. I watched in the living room, my hubby watched in the bedroom.

BEDROOM & BATHROOM

Classic bedroom with classic bathroom. When my hubby came inside the bathroom, he said, "Wow, it's like our bathroom, hon!" LOL. Yes, we had classic bathroom at our apartment hahaha.. Spacious bedroom, always make me happy. I could invite my brother and his family to come. Asher loves big bed. LOL.

PACIFIC LOUNGE

Our privilege to go to Pacific Lounge because we stayed in Pacific Floor. We went around 3pm and found that they served drinks and biscuits. After that we went around 6pm and enjoyed our dinner that night. It was actually cocktail hours, but we didn't drink any cocktails. We just ate our dinner. They served sushi, salad bar, canape and sandwiches, desserts, savoury pastries, soup of the day, cheese platter, and juices. My favourite was the sandwiches. Super delicious! Anyway, it should be a good moment, but there were several women ate there with us. And they were very annoying. They played a ringtone loudly over and over and over again for half an hour, I guess. And they talked very loud, as they were in their own room. Errr.. it's a lounge. If you wanna make noises, please do not do that in the area that should be a serene ambiance. When I took juices at the next door area, I found a very different ambiance. The people there talked in a sophisticated way hahahaha.. At the moment, I said to hubby, "We chose the wrong side of the lounge." LOL.

BREAKFAST

Restoran Fiesta: Indulge in a range of sumptuous buffet and à la carte menus from the East and West amidst a comfortable setting at Restoran Fiesta. Enjoy a taste of the local classic Indonesian dish ‘Nasi Goreng’ – fried rice served with a sunny side-up egg, beef ‘satay’ (diced and skewered spiced meat) as well as chicken fried with traditional spices. Or, try the Authentic Hainan Chicken Rice, consisting of fragrant rice and aromatic chicken served with a savoury chicken broth.

We had our breakfast at Fiesta Restaurant. I asked my brother to come with his wife and Asher. Yaaaay. The food was okay but so sorry, I didn't find any special food there. Well, actually, there was one. Their opor ayam was super gewd.

SWIMMING POOL

Lounge by the pool surrounded by lush greenery and enjoy the tropical weather of Jakarta with your drink of choice. Should you feel like a round of exercise, simply slip into the pool for a few laps.

Too bad we couldn't try the pool since they closed for wedding party. Too bad.

Thank you Sari Pacific Jakarta for the lovely staycation. Definitely a great experience with amazing hospitality.
