[EVENT] Exclusive Winter Dinner with Pasta House AWkitchen by Akira Watanabe

December 13th, 2017. After lunch and afternoon tea, we visited AWkitchen by Akira Watanabe at Plaza Indonesia for an exclusive Winter Dinner with several foodies. We arrived on time, but still waited for some people to come.

In AWkitchen, they served dishes in 4 seasons. Spring, summer, autumn and winter. Now, we were in winter season. They said that they want to warm customer's heart with their delectable pasta creation cooked perfectly with the sweet delicacies of the sea.

From 2 appetizers, I prefer the Kinoko Salad than the Honey Tomato Bruschetta.
The mushroom was in a thin-cut. Love it. I always loved slim food.
Even though it won't make me slimmer hahahaha..
The bruschetta's texture was very good, but too many tomatoes.
That's why I prefer the Kinoko Salad.

MAIN DISH


Aragosta Linguine


It makes a big comeback to the dining table due to the popular demand. Everyone fell in love with this king of the sea and tomato based linguine.

Aragosta Risotto


It's a warm creamy risotto and light yet sweet taste of Aragosta that melt in your mouth, and definitely would rock your appetite.

Scallop Spaghettini with Mixed Mushroom Garlic Oil


If you believe in the magic of mushrooms, you will get addicted with its taste right after the very first bite.

You can enjoy the sweet-savoury taste of this one.

It's perfect for those who loves savoury garlicky tomato sauce.

Roast Beef Pizza with Egg

OMG those delicious food.
My favourite was Aragosta Linguine.
Love the texture of the linguine and the flavour of the dish.
Of course the lobster was the star.
The other dishes were also delicious.
The Aragosta Risotto was also delish, because of the lobster hahaha.
The scallop dishes were delicious also.
I chose the Scallop Spaghettini with Corn Butter Garlic Sauce as my second favourite.
Creamy with corn and butter. I love corn and butter!
And of course the scallop. Chewy yet tender. Superb!
The Roast Beef Pizza was overwhelming. Not too thick, not too thin. Just one great pizza!

DESSERT


Homemade Gelato


Mango flavour, my favourite! But I didn't like the caramel sugar on top of the gelato. Sticky! LOL. I prefer only the gelato hahaha..
