[HOTEL] Ibis Jakarta Slipi - Standard 1 Queen Bed Room

Ibis Jakarta Slipi Hotel is strategically in West Jakarta, only 5 Minutes from the Central Business in the area. Close to the Jakarta Convention Centre, Shopping Center & Senayan Sport Stadium. Easily accesible from & to the International airport. The ibis hotel offers rooms with Hi-Speed Internet Wifi Acces, 2 Restaurants with Barbeque Terrace, Outdoor Swimming pool & the Health Club. Ibis Jakarta Slipi is located in strategic area, near business & shopping disctrict: Sudirma, Senayan & Grogol are accesible by public transport. The hotel is linked to the Airport Highway. Ibis Slipi offers an ideal base to Business or Leisure Trip.

It's been too long since the last time I stayed at Ibis Hotel links. So when they asked me to stay at Ibis Jakarta Slipi, I was very happy. Yaaaay finally. And it was my chance to visit coffee shops nearby. Hooray!! *dancing from Setiabudi to Slipi* hahaha..#lebhaydotcom

LOBBY

A very comfortable lobby with cosy seats at some corner. They provide internet too in the lobby area. A very convenient area for business people. It's also quite spacious with friendly people around the area. When I took photos, someone came to me and told me to ask permission to take photos. I told him that I was a blogger, and it's my job to take photos hahaha.. then he smiled and said something like, "I see.. ok then, please mam."

STANDARD 1 QUEEN BED ROOM

The modern Standard Room offers an en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, air-conditioning, work desk, tea/coffee making facilities and one comfortable Double bed to ensure a great sleep. Up to 2 adults. No rollaway.

I was greeted by an elephant. Hahaha. So cute. And roses! OMG! I love roses. I was very happy. The bedroom wasn't spacious, but as usual, comfy. I took photos, then smoothed the bed. Then did the blogging on the table, since there's no plugs near our bed. I waited for my hubby to come. When he came, he said that the room was very lovely. Yaaaay, he liked it. :)

BREAKFAST

The Ibis breakfast at La Table is an 'all-you-can-eat buffet' served between 6:30 and 10am, combining all the elements of a traditional continental breakfast. You can choose indoor seating or outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is several tables with direct access to pool. Love the food. Once, I had a little bit complaint about the rice cake, and their F&B Manager told us that it was because of the condition. Well, it's too detail. But I was very satisfied with the response. Thank you so much Mr Rudy for the great explanation.

DINNER BY ROOM SERVICE

When hubby arrived at first night, he was too tired. So we ordered our dinner from room service. The second night, we also were too tired to go to the restaurant. LOL. Well, it's hard for us to leave the room. It was very comfortable. They allowed us to order Indonesian food only. So, here we go:

Sop Buntut 159k

Choice of Oxtail soup boiled or fried served with green chili paste and steamed rice

Nasi Goreng Special 85k

Choice of Fried rice, Seafood, Salted fish or Special

Nasi Timbel 85k

Traditional side dish served with beef, chicken, salted fish, beancurd, beancake, fresh vegetable and chili paste

Bihun 75k

Choice of stirfried noodles with meatball, squid and chicken, served with shrimp skewer

From 4 dishes for our room service dinner, my favourite was Sop Buntut.
The broth was well-seasoned with tender and juicy oxtail.
The fried rice was also good with super delicious satay.
Love the nasi timbel, but nothing really special with it.
And the bihun was just okay. But the portion was very generous.

LUNCH BY ROOM SERVICE

We ordered our lunch from Le Bistro menus. At first, we wanted to eat in the restaurant, but that afternoon, we were so busy with our activities. Hubby was busy watching movie, while I was editing several photos for my blog. So, we decided to order from room service, again. Too lazy hahahaha..

180 G Fresh Tasmanian Salmon 125k

Grilled salmon steak served with mashed potato and vegetable lemon capers butter sauce

Fish & Chips 80k

Battered snapper served with french fries and tartar sauce

The skin of the grilled salmon was slightly charred, but still good for me hehehe.
My hubby didn't really like it, so I was the one who finished it.
The tender salmon was overwhelming. My favourite.
The fish & chips was thick, but I prefer it was more tender.
Tasted good with the tartar sauce as the dipping sauce.

Orange Juice 55k

It was fresh squeezed from the orange. Very refreshing and such a thirst-quenching.

Thank you Ibis Jakarta Slipi for the lovely staycation. Will definitely do that again at another time.
