[CHINA] Day 12: Shanghai Bund, Nanjing Road and French Concession
Hari keduabelas. Yaaaaaaaay.
The Bund (外滩) is a waterfront area in central Shanghai. The Chinese name for the Bund is unrelated in meaning: it means literally the "outer bank", referring to the Huangpu River, because this part of the riverfront was located further downstream than the "inner bank" area adjacent to the old walled city of Shanghai.
Perjalanan ke sana masi agak pagi, jalanan masi sepi. Senangnya melihat jalanan2 di sana yg belon semrawut. Coba aja kalo udah siang hahahahaha nyerah deh. Sama semrawutnya sama jakarta :D
Sesampai area deket The Bund, kita sempet bingung parkir di mana. Akhirnya brenti di pinggiran. Trus muter2 sampe akhirnya ketemu tempat parkir, en jalan kaki ke arah The Bund deh. Uniknya pas lagi nunggu traffic light, smpt liat org sirem tanaman. En lucunya HT blg, "I never saw this before." Padahal dia yg tinggal di Shanghai ya hahahaha Saking sibuknya sampe gk pernah liat org sirem tanaman di jalanan :D
And this is it. The famous The Bund
Gw speechless bo. Keren banget. Setelah puas liat2in sekitar, HT malah sibuk foto2in gw. Bak foto model deh, dg berbagai background.
Abis itu baru deh foto2 sekitar situ :)
Setelah selesai menikmati The Bund, HT ngajak duduk2 ngopi. HT pesen capuccino, gw pesen orange juice.
Abis itu, gw diajak ke Nanjing Road (南京路).
Nanjing Road is the main shopping street of Shanghai, China, and is one of the world's busiest shopping streets. It is named after the city of Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province neighbouring Shanghai. Today's Nanjing Road comprises two sections, Nanjing Road East and Nanjing Road West. Nanjing Road is the world's longest shopping district, around 6 km long, and attracts over 1 million visitors daily. Nanjing Road is located in the city center, running in a west-east direction. Its eastern section (南京东路) is in Huangpu District (黄浦区) and extends from The Bund (Wai Tan-外滩) west to People's Square. The western section (南京西路) begins at People's Square and continues westward towards Jing'an District.
Sepanjang jalan itu bener2 tempat belanja. Bahkan gw ketemu outlet Coach di sana. Hohohoho.. So happy :) Gw beli kaos Giordano di sini, I ❤ SH, buat gw en hubby, kembaran, cuma beda warna ajah hihihihi..
Bagussss :)
to be continued..
