[EVENT] Wine Tasting Decanter Wine House Kuningan Jakarta
7 Maret 2013. Gw dpt invitation utk Wine Tasting "Marqués de Riscal" di Decanter Wine House. Sebetulnya gw gak pakar urusan wine, tp krn Decanter deket banget dr apartment gw, en gw penasaran gimana sih rasanya ikutan wine tasting. Beruntung lah gw yg bs dpt invitation-nya, secara kalo food tasting, biasanya mereka random gitu ngasi invitationnya. Kadang gw diundang, kadang kaga. Apalagi gw kan newbie banget di dunia blogging :)
Gw suka interior Decanter. Romantis banget. Acara Wine Tasting diadakan di area bar. Sedangkan area utk makan terpisah.
Sambil nunggu wine tasting dimulai, kita malah order2 makanan di sana. Sekalian deh ya gw pajang di sini hahahaha kan sambil nge-wine :D
Escargot in Beer Batter Blanket 40k
disajikan dengan Garlic dan Herbs Butter. Enak nih. Beda dari biasanya escargot yg lembek2, ini agak renyah, yummmy, cuma krn gw kurang suka asin, next order hrs minta dikurangi garamnya :D
Grilled Calamari 50k
disajikan dengan Spicy Tomato Fondue. Gw kirain calamarinya bakal bertepung, ternyata salah duga. tp rasanya enak sih, chewy2 gemesin gitu hihihihi tampilannya aja yg kurang rame..
Black pepper-crusted Tuna Loin 82.5k
disajikan dengan Arugula and Fennel Salad with Caramelized Onion and Balsamic Mustard Dressing. terus terang, gw kurang suka menu ini. agak aneh di lidah gw hehehe
Classic BLT 65k
Biasanya isinya itu Bacon, Lettuce, Tomatoes and Egg. Tp kemaren diganti dengan Beef :) Enak kok sandwich-nya :) gw sukaaaaaaaaa..
Setelah makan selesai, baru deh winetasting blogger2 ini dimulai. Gw mencoba 3 wine sajah. Hehehehe.. Dilayani langsung oleh Mr Yohan Handoyo, owner dari Decanter Wine House dan penulis buku "Rahasia Wine" yg berwajah mirip Bae Yong-jun uhuuuuuuuy..
Herederos del Marqués de Riscal Rueda 2011
ini white wine yg paling light, krn gw gk berani nyoba langsung yg keras :) karena terbuat dari anggur Verdejo, dari aromanya aja udah kecium buah2an yg segar. saat diminum, agak pait dikit, tp sekaligus ada rasa manis2 kaya sirup. unik deh rasanya. This wine pairs well with fish, shellfish, ham, pasta, chicken and cold meat. Best served at between 8º and 10ºC.
Seleccionado Por Bodegas Riscal S.L. Roble Tempranillo 2008
ini red wine yg paling light. rasanya ke-ceri2-an gitu. This fresh and pleasant red wine has notes of vibrant dark red berries, cherry, raspberry, underlying blackberry and very slight toasty-oak. It is excellent enjoyed with pork and other meat dishes.
Herederos del Marqués de Riscal Rioja Reserva 2006
nah, ini red wine yg paling keras nih. tapi justru paling enak kalo kata gw hehehe.. Cherry-red color with good robe. Spicy, balsamic aromas of great complexity, with notes of ripe dark berries and light toasted nuances. This wine goes well with ham, mild cheeses, casseroles which are not highly spiced, bean and pulse dishes, poultry, red meat, grills and roasts.
Beruntung sih gw gak mabok atau alergi hahahaha.. En gw enjoy banget minum wine2 tersebut. Gak salah deh ikutan winetasting kali ini. Semoga ada event2 lainnya yg kaya gini. Oya, sambil minum wine, kita juga disediakan canape yg lezat2 loh.
