[HOTEL] Holiday Inn Express Jakarta International Expo - Standard Double Room

From one hotel to another. We stayed one night at Holiday Inn Express Jakarta International Expo. It's my second Holiday Inn Express staycation, actually. I thought it will be a small hotel. That's why I was stunned when I arrived at their lobby. It's quite big. And what I liked about the hotel, they have such friendly people.

Holiday Inn Express Jakarta International Expo is the new hotel in Kemayoran with direct access to Jakarta's biggest convention center, Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO),with capacity up to 1.200 pax. The bedroom wasn't very spacious, but it was very comfortable. Actually, beyond my expectation. Well, the bed was smaller than we thought, but surprisingly very very cosy. We only got up the bed when we had to eat. LOL.

DINNER

We got dinner complimentary. Yaaay. It's a fun dinner, since they gave us a chance to try Cinema Express Meal. It's very cute. Choices of burger, hotdog or nachos. Served with popcorn and beer or soda for the drink.

BREAKFAST

Great Room

Located at the lobby level, our Great Room features Free Express Start Breakfast Bar which has a Grab and Go counter available for guests who are in a hurry. The Great Room opens from 6:00am to 10:00am, during the day you can use this space as a smart place to lounge around or surf the net using our Free High Speed WiFi to stay connected with your friends and love ones. To quench your thirst head down to our Vending Machines which are located at the lobby level.

They have outdoor area which very beautiful to take photos. But for rainy days, you should sit inside, for sure. Not too many variants for breakfast, but it's good to start your day.

LUNCH

I was told that we could order anything for our lunch time before checked-out. OMG thank you. We didn't have any appointment at the time, so yeah, we had our lunch first there.

Boiled oxtail, carrot, and potato served with steam rice and cracker.

Beef Steak 98k

Pan grilled beef Sirloin. Served with Mashed Potato and Mushroom sauce.

We loved the flavour of the food, but unfortunately the meat was too hard to chew.
The chef asked us about the food, and he said sorry for the hard meat.
But, we really appreciated the very nice gesture.
Maybe next time we will be back to try another dishes.
