[HONGKONG] Cupping Room Coffee Roasters at Sheung Wan Central Hong Kong

September 7th, 2018. I was very happy when I saw that Cupping Room Coffee Roasters was nearby my hotel. But when I went there on our arrival to Central area, it was already closed. So, we went there again on Friday.

Cupping Room was founded in 2011 in Stanley Plaza, Stanley, Hong Kong Island. From the beginning, our focus was to bring carefully roasted and prepared coffee to Hong Kongers in a comfortable environment. In 2013, we relocated from Stanley Plaza to the bustling district of Sheung Wan, expanding in the process to include Australian-inspired café fare. In 2014, we added our first location in Wan Chai and in 2015 our Central store soon followed, which included an on-site bakery. Finally, we welcomed our Roastery and coffee bar at Po Hing Fong in 2016 and have been roasting coffee since then on a Probat UG15 Retro roaster.

I love the place. It was not small but not too big. The most important thing, it was very comfortable. We went there in the morning, before our next adventure LOL. The barista were very friendly. We had so much fun there.

White Regular: Latte HK$ 40

Definitely the best coffee I found in Hong Kong. It's light but not too light, and the after-taste was very amazing. Milky texture with rich flavour. Recommended!

Chocolate Croissant HK$ 28

Love the chocolate croissant. We finished it very quick LOL. Good texture with delicious taste.

Definitely one of the best coffee shops when in Hong Kong. For me, it's number one!
