[HONGKONG] Dorsett Mongkok at Kowloon Hong Kong

When I saw the location of Dorsett Mongkok Hotel, I told hubby, "Hey, it's not far from Disneyland, and not far from Central, Hong Kong Island." And he said, "Up to you, honey." Yeah, he always let me do the itinerary to everywhere LOL. Ok, so, the first 3-nites we stayed in Dorsett Mongkok Hotel, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Situated between Mongkok and Tai Kok Tsui in the Kowloon's heartland, Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong is a budget hotel Hong Kong offering great accessibility to both shopping and business landmarks It is just a 7-minute walk away from the Olympic MTR station, where you can take the subway train towards all major attractions in Hong Kong.

At Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong, our free shuttle bus will bring you to the modern shopping malls such as Elements and Langham Place Mall that comprise numerous international and fashion brands. The hotel's neighbourhood is also filled with a host of famous local markets, including Ladies' Market, Temple Street, Jade Market, Fa Yuen Street, Flower Market and Goldfish Market, for real "local" shopping experience. The hotel also provides free shuttle service towards Airport Express Line Kowloon Station which takes passengers directly to the Hong Kong International Airport.

We arrived at Hong Kong International Airport at night, so we decided to take taxi to the hotel. We paid around HK$ 262 for the taxi. Quite expensive but we were too tired to find bus or train. LOL. It's our first time to go to Hong Kong. I've been there years ago, but hubby never been there. So, yeah, it's OUR first time together LOL.

LOBBY

The lobby is nice. Not too big, but not too small. Very high ceiling. Friendly people. Yup, I heard that Hong Kong had a lot of rude people. But since the first time I arrived in Hong Kong until coming home, I only met 1 rude lady in one restaurant at Hong Kong island. LOL.

Comfort Queen with Breakfast at Chrisly Cafe

Room size 18 m²

Featuring air conditioning and city views, this twin/double room is fitted with a flat-screen TV, minibar and personal safe. The private bathroom has a massage rainshower, free toiletries and hairdryer.

Small room with comfortable atmosphere. That's why, even though it's quite small for us, we always love to go back to the hotel room. But, we had to take our one-time breakfast at Chrisly Cafe. Quite far from the hotel. I didn't ask the reason why we should go there. But, since it's breakfast ala Hong Kong, we took the vouchers. :)
