August 20th, 2016. The first time I heard about this place, one of my friends asked me to come with her. But it never happened. *cry* Yeah, we're too busy with our own life. LOL. So, when I had chance to go there, I didn't take a long time to decide. Finally! I saw their cute afternoon tea inside an exclusive jewellery box whenever I opened their IG account. Now, I can say to everybody, "I've tried their exclusive box! Whoozah!!" Well, it's one gorgeous place to have some fun time. Peacock Lounge, Fairmont Hotel Jakarta.

The hotel’s lobby will offer a sophisticated lounge where guests can relax and enjoy light bites, tea and coffee throughout the day. Building on Fairmont’s tradition of celebrating Afternoon Tea, the menu offerings and service are unrivalled in Jakarta.

When I stepped inside the venue, I was stunned. It was very chick. Elegant yet homey. Not intimidating environs with friendly staffs. Not too many tables. It makes the surrounding looks very spacious with high ceiling. Very comfortable yet sophisticated ambiance. I'm in love with the place. In a jiffy.

They served in the middle of the room, varieties of sweets, chocolates, cakes, and all kind of desserts. I couldn't stop taking photos of them. Too cute!

I love them all. But my favourite is the chocolate pralines. Wish they were more! LOL. Can you imagine? 4 people with same addiction. Tasty desserts in front of them. You will hope that they won't claw-scratches each other.

First drawer: kiwi tartlets and lemon financier

I couldn't get enough of the lemon financier. It's so delicious with moist texture. Love it!! There are 3 lemon financiers. I think I ate two. LOL. OMG I was so greedy! Shush! Don't tell them. Okay? Hihihi..

Second drawer: foie gras, tuna sandwich, zucchini, and salmon rolls

More foie gras, please! Hahaha. Love the tuna sandwich too. Didn't try the salmon rolls, but I'm sure it's as good as the others.

Third drawer: scones and madeline

Always love madeline. Cannot resist. Fluffy texture with perfectly sublime taste. Addictive! I didn't touch the scones. I let them to eat the scones. Let me have all of the madeline hahaha..

Additional tray: springroll, bitterballen, and mushroom & truffle quiche

This is like a bonus. LOL. Love the quiche (I love quiche). Quiche is like a snack-in-between. Between not hungry and very hungry. Hahaha. Yeah, that's only in my mind.
