Liberté French Brasserie Galeries Lafayette Pacific Place SCBD Jakarta

September 19th, 2013.  I went to Pacific Place to meet up with Aline, Octa and Hans. Then we decided to eat lunch at Liberté.

Liberté is a relaxed French brasserie located at the second floor of Galeries Lafayette in Pacific Place Mall. Its warm and comfortable interiors are a perfect background for its flavorful, filling and earthy classic French-style cooking. Reminiscent of a leisurely stroll down the Champs-Élysées in Paris, with the Arc de Triomphe in the distance, Liberté is evocative of the chic and relaxed lifestyle of the French, who always have time for the best food and drink.

As I walked through the corridor, I knew I'm in love.  I always love Paris. So, when  I came and looked inside of this place, really reminded me of Paris, and I kinda miss Paris. Huhuhu..

We chose 4 Plat Principals (main courses) and 2 beverages.

Iced Lychee Tea 36k

Vitamin Waters - Watermelon Rosemary 72k

Served from Aurum Pitchers. Not sweet. Very refreshing.  Just like mineral waters but a little bit watermelon and rosemary flavours. Shared this water with Aline and Octa.

Beer Battered Butterfish 72k

with Homemade Chips. Too bad, the fish and chips was too oily. The size was big, but this one was not my favorite.

Roast Chicken 80k

Chicken Leg & Breast, Roasted Potatoes, Corn Relish. Love it. The chicken was so tender. I changed side menu roasted potatoes to rice. hihihi.. cannot live without rice.

Chicken Roulade 80k

Chicken Breast, Mashed Potatoes, Tomato Confit. I stil prefer the roast chicken. Hihihi.. But the mashed potatoes were very delicious. Tender and soft texture. Yummy.

Chicken Cordon Bleu 90k

Breaded Chicken Breast with Smoked Beef & Mozzarella. This menu was delicious too, but too small for me. I need two portions hahahaha.. But the smoked beef and mozzarella were very good.

Specialties of Liberté include: Escargot Vol-au Vent (Escargot in Puff Pastry), Duck Confit with Sautéed Spinach, Barramundi with Ratatouille, Steak Frites (Steak and Fries) and Profiteroles in Chocolate Soup. The drinks at Liberté pay fun and whimsical homage to the French, with fresh and interesting twists to traditional cocktails.

Must-try the escargot and duck confit, then..
