[CLOSED] AMALGAM Coffee and Brewery at Plaza Mutiara Mega Kuningan Jakarta

April 6th, 2017. I was in the middle of dilemma. I have an event at 6pm. Should I go on time or should I wait somewhere nearby? So, I looked at my phone and tried to find some new places. Well, it did not have to be new as well, at least I've never been there. And voila. AMALGAM.

Opened since last year *and I've never heard of it OMG* AMALGAM located in Plaza Mutiara building, beside JW Marriott Jakarta. Resided in the lobby, it's very easy to find, since it stationed on the left corner. Small counter with friendly baristas. Love the place, though. Simple and beautifully comfortable. Funny thing, they wrote that they had free wifi, but turned out when I was there, they didn't have it. Errr.. please gimme free wifi next time I come.

Hazelnut Latte 35k

Delicious hazelnut latte. Like I usually did when I ordered, I told the barista that, "I want coffee with less coffee. Can you make it for me?" And they did, happily. This hazelnut latte was more hazelnut and latte than the coffee. It's very bold in flavour with rich texture. Next time I want to try their Caramel Latte.

Lemon Cake 35k

LOVE IT! I was hungry for savoury food, but when I saw this lemon cake, I was like, "I have to eat that! Now!" It's really good. Despite the price is similar to my hazelnut latte, but I was very satisfied. Fluffy texture with sweet and sour flavour from the sugar and the lemon. And they have these cuts of lemon inside the cake, giving a surprise texture in every bite.

Definitely will be back with friends. Cannot wait!
