[BALI] Habitual Quench and Feed Kerobokan Bali

January 19th, 2016. Before we went back home, we wanted to try a place that serve delicious food. And I heard somewhere, there's a place that fit with our needs. We met up with one of BaliFoodies there, Martha. So yeah.. it's her recommendation. Habitual Quench and Feed.

One good thing about habit is, you have to get out of bed to feed it. Every cook’s dream is run his or her own kitchen and I’m no exception. After working every position there is to fill in the kitchen, I have decided to make that dream into reality. Habitual (Quench & Feed) concept stems from food I love and would eat on a regular basis growing up in New York City; toasted bagel with Schmear (cream cheese), fluffy pan cakes with syrup, eggs and home fries combo, grilled cheese sandwiches were some of things found at my local diner in Long Island City and of course, the cheeseburger and fries! The kind of food that always makes me happy and getting out of bed worthwhile. I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel, Habitual, as the name states, is a place where you can get proper meal and great coffee without all the fuss and hope that it will become your habit, too (the good kind ☺).

Located in Umalas Kerobokan, around rice paddy field, Habitual wasn't one spacious place to eat. It wasn't that easy to find too. Cute thing about this place, they don't have wifi. Actually they have this sign written on their door. "No, we do not have WiFi, talk to each other, or pretend like it's 1993." I laughed when I read the words. So funny but it's just what we need.

Fritas Burger 85k

Mixed beef chorizo patty, fried egg, chipotle mayo, topped with crispy shoestring fries and served with a side of lettuce and tomato.

Such a unique presentation. Huge portion. So pretty and looked delicious. And it was delicious, indeed. The fatty was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. It was presented as an overloaded burger, right? And it was amazingly mouthwatering. Looking for Bali's best burger? Come to this place. :)

Mac and Cheese 75k

A classic breakfast menu, Macaroni and Cheese. Perfect texture with succulent taste. Served with crumbled bacon on top OMG. Creamy and cheesy. Great combination for mac and cheese. I was in a bad mood at the time. But, one spoonful of this dish made me smile again. LOL. I think I was hungry hahahaha

Steak and Egg 115k

Steak on a crispy hash brown topped with poached egg and Hollandaise.

Da bomb!! The steak was juicy and appetizing. Such a wonderful platting. Well, it's a steak, egg, and crispy hash brown. No other words needed. The flavours blend wonderfully. Superb! Recommended!

When you are in Bali, this is one recommended place to go. Trust me!
