HONU Poké & Matcha Bar at Kemang Jakarta

March 29th, 2017. Strolling around Kemang, Aline, Cindy and I stranded in a new place. We talked about this one quite often. Actually, last Monday when I went to Kemang area with Ivan, I saw the place, but it's closed. *next time ya Ivan* We were coming from Cipete area, but I will tell you about it later. Then, we prepared our tummy for those delicious poké bowl. HONU.

Small space with petite smoking area. We almost ran out of tables to sit. Fortunately, we got a cute space around the back area. Supposed to share the table with other people, but after we sat, they finished. So the long table was ours. Hohoho. Then it's time to order the food. I let Aline and Cindy ordered for us. I was busy taking photos LOL.

Salmon & tuna with creamy sauce, wakame, lettuce, carrots, tempura crunch

First bite, first love. I never thought that a poké bowl will give me such a romantic effect. LOL! Too exaggerating? Not really. You surely will feel the same when you eat this kind of poké bowl. Mixed the ingredients all together, and be prepare to fall in love with this combination. Fresh salmon and fresh tuna. Wakame, lettuce, carrots and the tempura crunch. Those ingredients will give you the crusty of love. The white sushi rice was sure as delicate as can be. Recommended!

Grilled Chicken Bowl 75k (Reg) 50k (Sml)

Grilled chicken, lettuce, carrots, cucumber, spring onion (Extra egg +5k)

This was the not so poké. Why? Because it contained chicken. Poké /poʊˈkeɪ/ is a raw fish salad served as an appetizer in Hawaiian cuisine, and sometimes as an entree. That's why they categorize it in NOT SO POKE. Hahaha. The grilled chicken was super duper delicious. Well-seasoned with tender and juicy texture. And the vegetables were so fresh. Added an extra egg. Too bad it's not half-cooked, so when we tried to break the egg, the eggyolk wasn't runny. Next time remind me to ask for the half-cooked egg. Yes! Super duper recommended!

Matcha with honey and milk / soy milk

Cindy told us about this drink. She was so curious about it. And it's really good. But for me, it's too milky. Next visit I will ask them to make it less milk. Definitely.

Love it! Yes, always love free refill drinks. *sparkling eyes* And I prefer the taste of the matcha in this drink. Pure matcha!
