Bebek BKB at Danau Tondano Bendungan Hilir Jakarta

February 19th, 2017. I went to a new place at Bendungan Hilir with my #DFS buddies. I was there before, so it's easy for me to find the place. I knew the place from my sister. One of the owner was her friend. So I guess I should try, right? Bebek BKB.

BKB stands for Bebek Kepahiang Babase. Bebek is duck. Period. Kepahiang is a very beautiful village in the mountains of Bengkulus. Babase means to invite in Lembak language (Bengkulu). Kepahiang Village is very famous for their Lemeah cuisine, a typical dishes from Rejang clan. Famous for their herbs and sambal. Spicy and fragrant. This is why we want to make our own sambal BKB.

Located at Jalan Danau Tondano, it's a place that will make my hubby happy to visit. They have spacious parking lot. The restaurant itself is very big too. Comfortable with long tables. I don't wanna brag about them, but it's really cozy to eat lunch or dinner there with families and friends. You go there and try it by yourself. You'll get addicting, trust me.

We are so in love with their fried duck. OMG! The best! The meat of the duck is very tender and juicy. At first I tried their Japanese rice, it was good. But then I'm in love with their uduk rice. It was amazing!!! I think I can say that it was one of the best uduk rice I've ever tried. And those side dishes were also delicious. Well, they all said the sambal is the best of the best. Well, if you are curious enough, just go to Danau Tondano and try it. Or.. order it on gofood application.

Actually, I love all of their desserts. They told me that they went around to find greatest ingredients for their desserts. Good to know, right? But for the dessert, I think you should try at their outlet, cannot order via gofood.
