[CLOSED] White Box Bistro and Deli Kota Kasablanka Jakarta

June 9th, 2013. I went to White Box which is located in Kota Kasablanka. I was curious about the place because one of my fellow bloggers said that it was good. So, that day I forced myself to try the new place. The place is quite cozy. Really nice place to spend time with your family or your friends.

Ice Lemon Tea and Ice Lychee Tea @ 23k

My favorite beverage is always lychee tea. That's why everytime I go to a new place, I must try their lychee tea hehehe.. My hubby's favorite is ice lemon tea. The beverages all were fresh and great.

Oxtail Soup 60k

Our traditional recipe of oxtail soup served with rice and melinjo crackers. The soup was good, but the oxtail was not as tender as I expected.

Fettuccini Cream Katsu 38k

Fettuccini pasta, chicken katsu and cream sauce. Fettuccine pasta tastes its best when served in a rich creamy sauce. The chicken katsu was tender and the crispiness was amazing.

Calzone Salmon Spinach 43k

Salmon and spinach mixed with homemade sauce wrapped in puff pastry. This is the first calzone I ever had. It tasted so good. A calzone is a folded pizza or turnover shaped like a half-moon and made of salted bread dough. The salmon and spinach mixed perfectly. Love it.

Durian Mousse Cake 35k

Durian mousse, durian sponge cake and fresh durian fruit. The texture of the sponge cake was soft and moist. But actually for me, this cake needed more durian fruit :) It would be perfect!!
