[CLOSED] The Belly Clan Intiland Tower Sudirman Jakarta

November 29th, 2013. I was invited to The Belly Clan. They had this new food and brunch menu event. They invited media and blogger. The event was called MEDIA NEW FOOD & BRUNCH MENU LAUNCH.

Actually, this was my first time there. A little bit awkward of course. But, I met some friends there, and got introduce to some new friends. The place was very nice. Love the ambiance and their hospitality.

Let me introduce to you all the new food :) They served 1 portion each menu for around 15-20 people, so I just tasted some menus, not all of them. :D

Crispy Chicken 70k

Deep-fried breaded chicken fillet, sweet chili, Thai herbs.

Kurobata Pork 100k

Roast Kurobata pork, Cantonese sauce, Japanese kyuri. The pork is so delicious. I just got 1 tiny piece of the pork, but it was so tasty I was craving for more :)

Belacan Fried Rice 85k

Deep-fried breaded king prawns with Thai chili dressing on shrimp paste fried rice.

Beef Brisket 85k

Australian Black Angus beef brisket au jus, Asian spices.

Cajun Chicken 80k

Roast chicken leg with Cajun spices, ratatouille niçoise, Indonesian potato cake.

Chili Pesto Chicken 75k

Pan-fried chicken, chili pesto sauce. Served with sautéed diced Thai chili potatoes.

Indian Chicken Burger 80k

Chicken cutlet marinated with Indian spices, Tandoori mayo. Served with skinny fries.

Szechuan Short Ribs 150k

Grilled 180g prime beef short ribs with Szechuan sauce. Served with sautéed vegetables and pomme purée.

House Made Dory Burger 85k

Dory fish fillet, caramelised pineapple, emmental cheese, tartar sauce. Served with skinny fries.

Lemongrass Chicken Soup 45k

Diced chicken, bean sprouts in lemongrass-coconut soup. The soup was sour but sweet. Very fresh.

Corn Fritters 65k

Corn fritters stack with grilled beef bacon, sour cream, tomato relish and wasabi guacamole. This is "bakwan jagung" in Indonesia. I like the appearance. Kinda exclusive for "bakwan jagung" and it was very yummy too :D

Truffle Brioche Fondue 100k

Brioche bread, truffle cheese sauce, beef bacon and tomato salsa. This is the best. I was eating it with love hahaha.. The bread was soft and tender. It was like eating cotton candy :)

Sandwich Tempura 70k

Deep-fried battered sandwich with chicken, beef bacon and chopped parsky filling.

The Belly Clan Eggs Florentine 65k

Poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, smoked salmon, sautéed spinach and brioche.

Pandan Cake 45k

Hong Kong Style French Toast 55k

French toast with peanut butter, maple syrup and butter. This was my favorite dessert. OMG! The peanut butter was delish. The maple syrup and butter mixed perfectly. Best toast ever.

Full Moon

Vodka, Southern Comfort and Hypnotiq Liqueur. It's so strong you have to drink it in one sip immediately.

Oriental Grass 95k

Vodka, Elderflower liqueur, Lemongrass, Basil. It was quite strong too. The lemongrass was very rich.

Lemongrashing 35k

Lemongrass, Lychee, Lemonade. Refreshing mocktail. The lychee was not very strong because lemongrass and lemonade a little bit dominated the taste hihihi..

Smashing C 40k

Watermelon, Lime, Orange. Not really like watermelon for juice. But, it's quite refreshing :)

The Belly Clan also had lunch promotion.

For this Christmas, there will be Christmas Eve Meat Carvery Dinner. 3-course set dinner @ 250k++ They also have Christmas hampers with assorted cookies, whole cakes and sparkling wine. Enjoy!!
